June 13th update.

Dear Friends of LPDV,

Attached you will find two recent pictures of the K-P building progress.

Omar, Julio, and Ricardo have gotten some help recently from my nephews
David, Zach, and Cody Franklin (my sister Cathy and brother-in-law
Rick's boys). They did a lot of hauling gravel fill into the
classrooms. Julio has plastered all of the interior walls in the
classrooms, and Omar and his son-in-law Ricardo have put up the
corridor roof.

We also enjoyed a visit from Ray and Sigrid Corson, who first came down
this January with the Loveland Colorado team. Ray did a lot of work to
get internet access in the library for both teachers and students,
along with setting up teacher computers with printer in the cubicles.
He also mapped out the entire LPDV computer network which will be
extremely useful for trouble-shooting when things don't work. In
addition to helping Ray, Sigrid helped short-termer Heather King with
elementary science classes, and applied spine labels and card pockets
to books in the library. She also humored 2 1/2 year old Natalia by
reading Snow White and Green Eggs and Ham multiple times.

We look forward to hosting=2
0MIM teams from Colorado and Wheaton again in
January. They will put the finishing touches on the early-education
building, getting it ready to be used for the first time in the 2010
school year.

Thanks for your prayers and support for the LPDV ministry!

Matt Befus
